COVID-19 Information

We are committed to customer and staff safety. All shipments are carefully handled to minimise contact and all staff regularly sterilise hands and equipment. Cleaning has been increased throughout the business as a preventative measure, particularly on door handles etc. Full home working is being undertaken across the business for all roles that can work from home.

We will take every step needed to reduce contamination but ask that customers take similar precautions.

  • Our contact free delivery process now includes photo capture for proof of delivery. You will not be asked to sign handheld units and for DPD shipments your delivery driver will take a photo of the parcel at the point of delivery.
  • We also recognise that some people may be self-isolating and unwilling or unable to open their door to receive parcels, so there’s a range of delivery options for everyone including setting their delivery preferences on the DPD app or leaving a note on the front door telling the driver where to leave the parcel.
  • If you are suffering with any symptoms please do not answer the door, please ask the courier to leave the parcel on the step and then open the door once they are over 2 metres away.
  • Remove outer packaging from delivered items at the door and responsibly dispose of it immediately.
  • Where possible leave items new to your household for at least 72 hours before touching them. Clean items with a suitable substance if the item is required immediately.
  • Wash hands and effected surfaces after any contact with packaging.

To protect our staff and maintain our clean working space we ask that visits to our premises are by invitation only. Upon visiting please stand back from the entrance and remain outside the building unless specifically invited to enter. We can bring items to the door.

For any items shipped to us we ask that you clean them and package appropriately to help us maintain our safe environment. We will keep them in quarantine for an appropriate time before opening. This will effect our service time but we will minimise this where possible.

UK and International delivery

We deliver around the World! We offer fast shipping to nearly every country at great rates. We can also arrange collection or shipping for you using our services which often have lower rates than those offered by your local providers.

We will always do our best to get items delivered to you as soon as possible.
Prices are based on our costs to deliver:

Royal Mail
For parcels up to 2Kg in weight we will usually use regular postal services
Royal Mail delivers within a few days in most cases. Please wait at least 4 working days before letting us know an item has not arrived.

Next Day
For large, urgent or bulky deliveries we use a courier service.
For a next working day delivery orders must be completed before 2pm. Orders made after this time may not be collected in time for a next day delivery. If you supply your mobile number when you place an order we will pass this on to the courier, you should then receive a text alerting you of your delivery date and approximate time.

We do not guarantee delivery times. Some remote areas may incur additional delivery costs which must be met by the buyer. Saturday deliveries are possible only for orders placed over the telephone and will cost considerably more.

Overseas
If your basket weight is under 2Kg you have the choice of using the Postal Service, or can choose to ship with a faster courier. For anything over 2Kg we will ship with a courier, most of the time this will be DHL. If you supply your mobile number when you place an order we will pass this on to the courier, you should then receive a text alerting you of your delivery date and approximate time.

VAT and Duty on overseas shipments
Please note – if your order will be delivered outside of the European Union you may be liable to pay customs charges / local taxes on entry.

We offer a Global Shipping Collection Service for Robox 3D Printer warranty repairs, if you are outside of the European Union we can arrange to clear the goods through Inward Processing – this means you will not be charged VAT or Duty again upon the return of your item. We can provide all of the paperwork you require, all you need to do is print the documents and hand the parcel to the delivery driver on the arranged date of collection.

We can also quote for any power tools which may need to be returned for warranty issues, please call or email us to arrange.
