Hi!

I have two models that are pretty the same, and both need support. Both models have the same config.

One generates support fine, the other has an "empty" space. I move/rotate the model, nothing....Tried custom profile of support, nothing...

Good support model:

Bad support model:

Any advice?

Strange.

Not sure what the scale is for your example.

Try changing support spacing.

Can you get support to generate at all in that area?

For official support please create a support ticket using this link www.cel-robox.com/support/

Each grid has 5x5mm.

The height of the support is 1.6mm.

I made the support lines more close, and have the same problem...

The model is generated with Solidworks 2019.

@juan15pablo SolidWorks is notorious for flipping normals on STL export. Try repairing the model with Netfabb or 3D builder. Also look for surfaces or faces that are infinitely thin or "orphan". I have had those cause issues with support in the past, either not triggering its generation or triggering support where it doesn't belong. Having an extruded cut come in 0.00001 mm short of the actual dimension and you don't see it until you slice and there is support halfway through your open hole.

This does look like a model issue more than a slicer issue to me.
