Speedfill only one nozzle works

New Member
My roboxdual arrived today, the print head with a single nozzle works great (very happy with it printing something other than PLA out of the box!). But when I’ve put the speedfill head on I’m only getting extrusion from the left nozzle.

I’ve done multiple purges but only the left nozzle works.

To note I can’t do any calibration at the moment as the smart reel I received with the printer fell apart as I removed it from the packaging so I’m using some SUNLU PETG

I’ve raised a help desk case but wondering if anyone in here had any ideas?

@bobbob You need to calibrate the print head. You can use the PLA, just put the reel on a turntable or other device to do the calibration. Take the center hub out and snap it in place on the reel hub. This will allow you to do the calibration properly.

Once you have calibrated the print head if you still have problems you will need to report that on your support ticket.

What BHudson says is correct. The calibrations need to read temperatures from a SmartReel but it is easy to work around this as suggested. You can always write new data to the EEPROM on the SmartReel if a tweak is needed.
