Printing to scale - How do I improve accuracy  



Is there a way to calibrate the size of the output from my Robox?

Leecel's answer will allow firmware adjustments for one material but I would suggest Nozzle calibrations and XY calibration (button at the bottom of status), checking filament diameter or potential shrinkage and doing some test prints to see which axis needs adjustment.

For shrinkage I would recommend scaling each model because it will vary based on the shrink rate, model shape and density rather than the motions of the printer. Using this method, if you change material you will not need to adjust the firmware.

Firmware will be reset with each software update and changes will be lost.

If there is significant distortion there could be loose belts or gear problems.
