i have read a bunch of posts here about this and most say its the pogo pins, i just cleaned mine with alchohol and let it dry, also just installed the duel feeder upgrade and made absolutely sure my power connectors and ribbon cables are connected. power it up with my brand new duel print head in and it recognizes the serial number. as soon as i try to home the machine it gives me a nozzle control error. any help would be appreciated

I suggest opening a support ticket. If you have tried everything that is already posted, you may be looking at an out of date X-carriage PCB or an error with the installation. The most common errors are that the ribbon cable is installed backward, which isn't the case in your situation, and the power cable is installed backward. This is surprisingly common as the power cable is an oriented plug and can only be installed backward if it is forced. You can check by looking at the colors - red should be toward the right side, with the clear window, and toward the front of the printer. If either of these are reversed, the mainboard has been damaged and will have to be replaced.

If these aren't the issue, you will need to do troubleshooting and will need a support ticket to be able to get assistance and possibly order replacement parts.

Printhead reset solved the problem for me.

@nagyandrass
If the serial number is recognised, the reset won't resolve the issue. The reset is for when the print head EEPROM gets corrupted, usually from removing the print head or installing it when the power is one.
