Nylon 230 - Taulman

Eminent Member Customer

I want to print nylon. I haven't printed with Robox yet. On my other machine, I struggled a lot with adhesion. Is there a proven way to stick to the PEI sheet?

@nagyandrass It will depend on the nylon. I use Taulman 910 and sometimes have a lot of trouble getting it off the PEI. The most reliable method is to use a GeckoTek sheet, but even then it can damage the sheet.

I have the best luck with a worn PEI sheet that has a rough surface. Next after that is DimaFix, and then the GeckoTek.

I use the shiny side of the Robox PEI sheet for most Nylons. Some stick so well they peel away some of the resin. I find the roughed side of the sheet provides too much adhesion with Nylon.
